Safety Patrols
Joining the Auxiliary is a great way to combine your love for boating with your desire to help others. You can volunteer to crew on safety patrols in your local area!

Flotilla 74 patrols part of Tampa Bay. Above, before going out on a mission, OPS Officer Dave teaches a trainee how to use the Kicker Skiff Hook. Soon after, the crew finds a disabled boat and uses the hook to attach a line and tow the boat to safety.

The Coast Guard Auxiliary provides free training for members who want to spend time on the water assisting others.
